How to Care for your Sex Toy

  1. Remove batteries between uses. This reduces the risk of battery leakage inside the toy, and the chance for it to turn on accidentally and drain the battery.
  2. Vibrators can be cleaned with a toy cleaner, or antibacterial soap and water. Ensure that you rinse it properly afterward to clean any soapy residue off of the toy, and avoid water directly contacting the controls. When cleaning toys that aren’t water-resistant it’s generally a good idea to hold the controls in a dry cloth, while cleaning them under the tap.
  3. If you have a silicone dildo (meaning non-vibrating) you can clean with antibacterial soap and water, put in your dishwasher, or boil it to thoroughly sanitize it. If you’re using jelly or latex dildo’s using a toy cleaner is your best option, because jellies off gas phthalates and latex is nearly impossible to clean we recommend you use these materials with a condom.
  4. The use of lubricants can greatly enhance the pleasure of the toy
  5. Toys with cords should be inspected after use, and should be treated with care.
  6. It’s usually best to store your toys in a cool dark place. We recommend using plastic containers, or Ziploc bags to keep dust to a minimum. If you already have jelly toys in your collection it’s usually best to store them by themselves, because they’ve been know to melt overtime causing discoloration to other materials.
